MAKING GAMES      It is easier than you think

I've experimented with 3D modelling from scratch, but I can't seem to make a basic figure. So...how do I make these games?

I rely on programs like Daz Studio, which provides 3D figures that can be customized, posed, and animated. Next, I produce a series of images of the characters (not unlike an old flipbook) that I can add to programs like Gamemaker and animate. So, while some games look 3D, they are all 2D. Cool, huh?

Anyway, if you would like to know more about the process, feel free to contact me. Even if you aren't ready to make video games (or make them with your students) consider other options. Why not try a roleplay simulation in history class? Great things might happen...
